*''' | *'''Great Installs:''' Good damage and conversions with Sword install (22A). With Shield install (22B), her new guardpoint moves can blow through loose pressure strings. Buffs cause her weapon normals to deal chip damage, and having both buffs before using 22C inflicts a damage over time debuff.
*'''Simple | *'''Combos and Conversions:''' Wagner has consistently high damage and great conversions, particularly when installed. Notably, she gets to combo off her throw with the Sword install.
*'''Special | *'''Simple Neutral:''' 5B/66FF/6B dominate the spaces they cover against most of the cast. Her 236A is covers a decent amount of horizontal space, with a surprising amount of vertical coverage.
*''' | *'''Special Cancels:''' Specials can cancel into each other to prevent the opponent from having room to breathe or attempt a punish.
*'''Defense:''' As previously stated thanks to her strong abare and guardpoints, she also has a very good, 6F reversal (623B) that leads into insane damage when combined with Vorpal and meter. Notably, her EX reversal (623C) is one of the fastest reversals in the game.
*''' | |cons= | ||
*'''Gap Closer:''' Wagner thrives in the midrange and up close. However, she does not have a projectile or otherwise fullscreen option aside from her movement tools.
*'''Poor Neutral Tools:''' Wagner is generally disadvantaged at any range that isn't up close.
*''' | |||
*''' | *'''Low HP:''' Given the extra damage everyone does in this game, you don't have many chances to guess wrong with her.
*''' | |||
*'''Small Normals:''' Her normals don't have much range, which means she is incapable of using spacing traps on offense and is vulnerable to being spacing trapped herself, as all her rebeats are minus.

Curvy sword swing that covers both above and in front of Wagner. One of her longest range normals, but better served as a pressure and combo tool than a poke. Its long range and blockstun make it an excellent rebeat point. It's also a great normal to use after 6B to keep opponents from mashing or to mix up timings with her 214X charges. Wagner steps on her opponent so hard they explode. Used for the half-charged Force Function -> Low mixup, to make some improperly spaced moves safe, or throw out an unexpected low if you've conditioned them to look for an overhead. Obnoxious ranged anti-air and ground poking tool. Covers a surprising amount of horizontal space and can snipe characters like Linne clean out of the sky. Best used at midrange to catch people trying to jump over 66C or a deep run up throw. This will whiff against characters using assault at round start range. While 66B+C itself air blockable, Wagner can use it to set up air unblockables with each version of 236X. 236C is the most consistent option due to its speed and angle. Story
Wagner is the strongest sword in Licht Kreis--and proud of it.
She was dispatched to this area, where her acquaintance Orie resides, under orders to learn valuable lessons outside of combat.
After resolving the Amnesia affair with her overwhelming strength, she noticed that an ominous energy still permeated the land... An energy that meant there was another battle yet ahead.
Her hunch soon proved true with Kuon the Aeon's incursion. Her mission? To destroy Kuon, even if it costs her own life.
Wagner draws her sword once again to prove her worth to Licht Kreis and its leader Adelheid.

- Sword and Shield Enhance are referred to as "installs" or "buffs" by the community.
- Each Enhance is active until it is consumed by a specific move or Wagner gets hit.
- If both are active at the same time, the most recent Enhance to be activated will be lost.
- 22X animation can be cancelled with CS after an Enhance is active.

- If Wagner already has one Enhance active, she will also receive the other.
- 22C's damage scales with buffs: 1 buff active will deal 1576, both will deal 1658.
- If Wagner has both installs, 22C will instead consume them to inflict a unique "burn" effect on the opponent on hit.
- The burn effect will inflict up to 950 damage over time, varying with Wagner's proximity to the opponent.
- 22C has unlimited untech if Wagner has one buff, allowing her to combo after it.

- Must have less than 30% health (orange health) to use.
- After the cinematic, characters will be moved to the middle of the stage, regardless of where they were positioned before.
- Due to the cost, it is usually not recommended to use this move unless it will kill the opponent.
