Overview
Overview

The main heroine of Gleam of Force. She nearly lost her life due to a car accident when she was little, but was saved thanks to her older sister. Though she managed to live, some of her memories as well as her cherished older sister were lost. As time passed her emotional scars healed and she returned to a peaceful everyday life. However, one day she received a pair of gloves sent by the sibling she believed to be dead. Realizing the message that her sister was alive somewhere, she put on the gloves and entered Gleam of Force.

Playstyle
GOF2 Kanae Icon.png Kanae Kinoshita is this game's variation on the shoto archetype, and partially a rushdown. She’s a beginner friendly character that focuses on easing players into having an understanding of the game's fundamentals. Her weak and strong normals all have some utility.
Pros Cons
  • High Damage - Kanae can buff her already respectable raw damage output to absurd levels with her 6AB, which also acts a pseudo roman-cancel and gap closer. Compound that with your damage getting higher as your health gets lower, and Kanae can start TODing off of just about anything.
  • Strong Neutral Presence - Despite being a boxing character, Kanae can threaten a number of options from all ranges via her dash cancels and strong heavies.
  • 22X Series - Has several big-damage conversions from both DPs when given proper resources (made much easier when running Infighter).
  • Kawaii! - Is cute.
  • Little Sister - Is not Negai.
  • Resource Reliant - Needs large chunks of meter to be at her best. Combos are a bit restrictive for Kanae when out of INFIGHT!!
