Overview
Beast Boy is another returning character from Jump Jousts. In Jump Jousts 2, Beast Boy was played as an explosive character who was hindered by his bad neutral. While not quite as explosive, Beast Boy still retains relatively strong damage along with having significantly better neutral, making him much better than his former iteration.
Strengths |
Weaknesses
|
- Neutral Dominance: With his fast jumps and large 6A alone, Beast Boy would already have one of the most dominant gameplans in the game and his other tools only serve to compliment this strength.
- Tech Chasing: After they tech, Beast Boy is able to choose between chasing the opponent with his fast speed or attempting to whiff punish their mashing with 4A. Combined with Gorilla's armor, Beast Boy can effectively push them to corner and get high damage in the process.
- Evasiveness: Beast Boy's relatively small hurtbox alongside a small window of invuln on 4A make him difficult to hit in certain matchups.
|
- Lack of Verticality: Beast Boy's low jumps make it difficult to dodge several setups and projectiles, hurting him in certain setups and last hit scenarios.
