Overview
Garnet is a new character to the Jump Jousts series. She is a heavy and fast brawler sporting large buttons with generous properties, making her a good, if relatively basic neutral-dominant character. She is an interesting addition to the game's roster.

Weaknesses

- Speed: Garnet's fast shorthops and relatively low recovery on 6A mean she doesn't have to commit heavily.
- Neutral options: Garnet's kit of massive armored buttons, along with 4A's Pin and large shockwave can make contesting her in neutral difficult.
- Weight: Garnet is one of the heavier characters in the game, allowing her to punish many tools on hit that others might not be able to.

- Size: Garnet's large size can be detrimental in some matchups when trying to avoid assists or projectiles.

Garnet is generally run as a Point character due to her more mediocre metered options. However she can come in at most points in a match and present strong threats the opponent is forced to answer.
