Notations
The notations for Bleach Vs Naruto are based on the default player 1 controls on keyboard.
W - Up
A - Left
D - Right
S - Down/Block
J - Normal Attack
K - Jump
L - Dash
U - Special Attack
I - Super
O - Assist/Combo Breaker
Movement
-A and D are used to move left and right respectively.
-K is used to jump. You can jump up to two times before landing.
-L is used to dash. Dash costs stamina and can be done on the ground and in the air, but you can only dash in the air once before landing.
-S+L and W+L cost 60% of 1 bar of meter and most of your stamina but it allows you to cancel out of any action except for super and it stops time for a brief moment and moves you a small amount of distance.
- S+L on the ground moves towards the direction of your opponent.
- S+L in the air drops you downwards.
- W+L sends you upwards.
Attacking
-There are 4 types of J attacks: J, W+J, S+J and Air J. All characters have all four of these attacks.
-There are 4 types of U attacks: U, W+U, S+U and Air U. All characters have all four of these attacks (with the exception of Substitute Reaper Ichigo who lacks an Air U).
-There are 4 types of I attacks: I, W+I, S+I and Air I. All characters have I, W+I and S+I (with the exception of Substitute Reaper Ichigo who lacks an S+I) while only certain characters have Air I. These attacks are your supers which costs 1 bar of meter with the exception of S+I which costs 3 bars of meter. Most characters can cancel a grounded dash with I attacks.
-There are three types of grabs: J Grab, U Grab and command grabs. All characters have J Grab and U Grabs.
- J Grab can be done by holding the direction your opponent is at and pressing J and does low damage but is able to start combos.
- U Grab can be done by holding the direction your opponent is at and pressing U and does higher damage than J Grab but knocks down the opponent.
- Command grabs vary for each character that has them are done outside of how J Grab and U Grab are done.
-Soi Fon and Yoruichi have L+J and L+U, which is exclusive to them.
Defense
-Blocking is done by holding down S. You can press A or D to turn while blocking. Keep in mind your guard can break if you lose stamina and you cannot block from behind or block grabs.
-After being knocked down, you can press L to do a quick getup. Note that you cannot do a quick getup if you are hard knockdowned or have taken 240 damage or more in a single combo.
-If you have stamina and a full bar of meter, you can do a combo breaker to escape a combo. There are two types of combo breakers:
- Substitution Jutsu: Naruto characters will teleport out of the way into a (usually) safer position.
- Reitsu Burst: Summons a huge burst around you which knocks down the opponent and grants you temporary Yellow Armor.
Note that you CANNOT do a combo breaker if any of the following conditions happen:
- You take more than 210 damage in a combo.
- You got hit by a grab or guard breaker.
- You are being hit during a Super.
Other
-When you have 3 bars of meter, you can press J+K to transform on keyboard. However on a controller transforming is a separate button instead. Only certain characters are able to transform.
