Well rounded kit: Kakashi has a variety of great moves that allow him to deal with many situations. Strong corner combos: Kakashi's corner combos do high damage, potentially doing almost 75% health with assists.

Lacks safe options in neutral: Many of Kakashi's moves either have high recovery, high startup, long duration, or a combination of both which makes him prone to whiff punishing. Lackluster meterless midscreen combos: Kakashi's requires meter to do a reasonable amount of damage in his combos, otherwise the damage on them are very low. Lack of strong meter gain on whiff options: Because none of Kakashi's moves that fill meter on whiff have low recovery, he struggles to build enough meter to be able to frequently use ghost step or combo breakers.

• Minato - While Kakashi does have a teleport attack to punish ranged attacks, it cannot start combos without a Ghost Drop, so he has no meterless ranged combo starter off of a long rang punish. Minato allows him to start a combo off of a punish from a far range without using any meter.
