Combo Theory
Lu Meng primarily wants to route his combos early on into 214C, since it allows easy links into 5A or 2B to allow further extensions. Due to 214P's combo limit forcing a knockdown if used in a combo longer than four hits, he is unable to loop this move outside of MAX Mode, but can use this extender off most practical confirms and allow an easy MAX cancel or any other ender he might want to use.

BnB Combos

Basic meterless combo. You can MAX cancel the fourth hit of 236C in order to transition into a full MAX Mode combo.
MAX Mode Combos
[236C>214C]xN
Primary grounded MAX Mode loop. Excellent corner carry and consistent on every character in the game. Great to use from all grounded confirms into MAX Mode, as it allows for easy re-loops.
[623A>623D]xN
Corner juggle route. Not a necessity to use, but useful to have as a backup in case you launch your opponent or convert into MAX from an anti-air/air-to-air. Works best if you try to hit the 623A as low as possible.
