- Born to Churn. Troq is able to relentlessly threaten throw after throw using his very powerful unique trait. This forces the opponent to attack more than they normally would and Troq can capitalize off this, tiring them out in neutral before unleashing his own beastly offensive. Regardless of the situation, a wise opponent will beware the bull is always churning butter.
- In His Own Weight Class. Anytime Troq touches the opponent it is going to hurt. His strikes and throws are very efficient, allowing him to inflict big chunks of damage without needing to commit too many more cards to combo or pump. This strength escalates when combined with his ability, Giant Growth, which will further pump the damage output of all of his moves. He can uniquely threaten big, card-efficient damage off highs, lows, and throws simultaneously.
- Monster Energy. Both of Troq's supers have great stats for the amount of meter they cost to play. Troq is the only grappler without a 3 cost super, allowing him to be a lot more flexible in how he applies his meter. When combined with the extra card advantage generated from his ability to recur throws off his unique, it won't take long for opponents to realize Troq's supers are going to be a constant threat.

- Big Target. Due to the way his unique trait encourages him to play lots of throws and the need to exchange away blocks to unlock his ability, Troq will be taking hits and losing combat more than many characters. Despite his high health total, in practice he will need to burn through quite a bit of his extra health to build card advantage with his recurring throw attempts or by taking risks to set-up Giant Growth.
- Slow and Steady. Troq's strong offensive tools tend to cap-out in terms of damage at and around 20. His only way of breaking through this damage speed limit is the difficult to set-up Giant Growth into S2 super throw play. Troq needs to carefully balance burning his health away trying to pressure the opponent with throws and making sure he is able to win enough combats to not put himself at too much of a damage deficit.
