Strategy
Depth is a pressure based character often using different checkmates for different situations. Depth will usually be using basic to start a checkmate, OS to end the checkmate, wide to make the checkmate hard to escape from, and her DS to gain invulnerability to make certain plays safe.
Her melee (up close game) is one of the scariest, making player less likely in getting up in her face. Because basic casts on top of Depth, this can be used to catch players standing directly on top of her. Wide catches players trying to move around or advancing towards depending on what that player get. OS is going to catch players who approach to closely while f.OS can be used to stop cross-ups by running pass her.
Hero of Frost
Frost's offense and mobility can make it difficult for Depth to get a checkmate. However because it is hard for frost to be aggressive against Depth due to Depth's melee ability, Depth can be very defensive while stalling out frost and pushing her when she makes a mistake.
Royal Arcanist
It's very crucial for Depth to not get hit by Arcanist's debuffs. Many of the debuffs either directly or indirectly slow down Depth's movements, turning an already slow character into a sitting duck. Besides that, she would want to control the middle of the screen using basic and wide pressure. Depth can also abuse OS as Arcanist c.DS takes a while to come out.
Silent Redhood
Redhood's basic can pin down Depth's secret, however the move has a 30% movement reduction and a 700 ms action lock making her vulnerable, allowing Depth to punish with OS or wide. Besides that, Depth can use basic to try to catch Redhood when she's far away, and use wide when she is of a medium distance.
Sun Priestess
If Sun Priestess's basic is can catch Depth using any move besides DS in certain situations. Depth can only get out one move if basic spawns directly on top of her. She can walk through the center of Sun's basic if she does have any movement multiplier or move lock prior, this includes her basic, wide, and OS. If Sun priestess is not being aggressive, Depth should stay at a medium distance because she'll has access to all her move comfortable while sun priestess c.OS is unsafe, otherwise, she should be abusing her melee.
Dreadwyrm Heir
Depth in this matchup will have to understand when to be offensive and when to be defensive. Depth's basic is what she's going to be playing around majority of the time, using it as a barricade to keep Dreadwyrm from advancing. Depth's OS is a great way of pushing stupid dragon away but it's recommend for her to only use the the first OS combo as any consecutive OS will make dodging Dreadwyrm's OS impossible. It is also important to understand how Wyrm's wide works. Dreadwyrm's wide is not going to hit if her opponent is standing still, but it will also not hit if her opponent is moving, of enough distance, and THEN she uses wide. Only until her opponent stops moving and she continues to wide will there be a hit. This means you're capable to hold a direction when Dreadwyrm is using wide, as long as you don't stop moving or go the opposite direction.
