Introduction

Ragyo Kiryuin -Shinra-Koketsu- (鬼龍院 羅暁)

With the power of Honnōji Academy's brainwashed Sewing Club and Nui Harime at her disposal, she uses them to create Shinra-Kōketsu. Ragyo dons this Kamui in combat against Ryūko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryūin as she inacts her plan to dominate the world with Life Fibers.

  • Always starts the match with Valor Level 3, giving her constant access to meter regeneration and her FIBER LOST SECRET ARTS
  • Has gigantic high damaging normals
  • Has some of the best stage control, setplay, and zoning tools in the game
  • Has access to very high damage combos and infinites with her d2/8.C
  • Has a plethora of options for okizeme at her disposal
  • Has one of the best Step Dashes in the game due to it's passive Life Fiber trails
  • Has armor on nearly all of her moves, allowing for minor mistakes at close range
  • Her 8B is one of the best neutral and zoning tools in the game, allowing for complete autonomous zoning
  • Her sp.C allows her to dominate the entire stage when used in tandem with her setplay
  • Has numerous ways to bait out bursts
  • Her large hurtbox makes her a very easy target
  • Slow walkspeed and lacks a Jump and Homing Dash
  • Most of her moves can be avoided by Step Dashing
  • Most of her combos are reliant on setplay, making precise timing an absolute must which may lead to combo drops if she isn't careful
  • Shinra requires proper setup and spacing to land her FIBER LOST SECRET ARTS due to its very long startup period since she cannot combo into it
  • Her FIBER LOST SECRET ARTS does not make her automatically win the match, instead it will make her win the round it was used in
  • Lacks a Valor Burst

  • Ragyo teleports to the opponent and summons razor sharp tentacles from several of Koketsu's floating eyes, attacking in a barrage in front of her.
  • After her barrage of strikes she pierces the opponent with 4 tentacles and sends them into a sliding knockdown.
  • Deletes 8A, 4/6B, 2B, 8B, and her passive Step Dash Life Fiber trails upon use.

  • Ragyo casts 3 circles on the ground in front of her, when stepped on by the opponent they will be ensnared by Life Fibers and will be crumpled.
  • Using 2/8A again as it is already out will immediately activate the previous set of circles as it casts new ones.
  • The positions of the circles are decided by RNG, however when used near a wall it can manipulate their positions.

  • Ragyo poses as she welcomes her opponent with open arms before moving a short distance backwards and disappearing, afterwards 5 lasers will fire at the opponent in succession before Ragyo teleports to where she was originally and summons a massive pillar, launching the opponent upwards.
  • The first 2 lasers will pan across the stage from side to side, the first one will be at ground level while the second one will be above ground level, and then the final 3 will all target the opponent directly.
  • Ragyo will always fire all 5 lasers (excluding the pillar) regardless of any of them whiffing.
  • The second laser has a tendency to whiff on smaller characters.
  • The opponent cannot burst at any point during sp.C's active period.
