Introduction
Ryuko Matoi -Dual-Wield Variation- (纏 流子)
Ryūko successfully rips Junketsu off of her body without dying. She reunites with Senketsu and fights against Nui Harime, recovering both Scissor Blades. When Nui tries to stab her through the throat, Ryūko gets behind the Grand Couturier and chops her arms off. Although Nui puts on a show of pain and anger, the facade soon becomes real panic when Ryūko destroys the arms, severed thanks to the Scissor Blades.
Overview
Dual-Wield Ryuko, commonly referred to as "DW Ryuko" or "DWR", is the second variation of Ryuko Matoi. Unlike her single blade counterpart, she is far less grounded and much more well rounded in terms of her kit. She is simple yet flexible, and is one of the easiest characters in the game to pick up. She has fast yet far reaching Close Range Attacks. As well as fast, tall, and high priority Long Range Attacks and some of the fastest Break Attacks in the game. However, there is a game breaking bug on her that is too important to ignore, and that is her bugged d.B, which lacks a hurtbox for the entire duration of the move. This move can be canceled into itself and looped, making it impossible for the majority of the cast to hit her if abused properly. This bug allows her to trivialize neutral and whiff punishes as well as she can simply phase through nearly every attack in the game with it and remain unharmed while also getting a punish. Very few characters can combat her, and the majority of the cast is at her mercy. For this reason, Dual-Wield Ryuko is officially BANNED in tournament play as of February 2021.

- Panacea: Dual-Wield Ryuko's d.B, due to being bugged with removing her hurtbox for the full duration of the move, allows her to bypass neutral entirely against most characters, nullify nearly all zoning, and phase through almost every move in the game on reaction. The move also shoots a fast projectile which can snipe opponents after phasing through a move.
- High Damage: Dual-Wield Ryuko is capable of dealing devastating damage as she can easily ToD a good chunk of the cast while not needing much for resources to do so. She also has the highest damaging 5A Ender in the game, letting her easily kill even if the opponent has the meter to burst.
- Versatile: Dual-Wield Ryuko has a toolbox of options to work with, such as her high priority projectiles, armored options, and fast Break Attacks. With her d.B on top of this, there is very little if anything at all that she lacks an answer to.
- Reverse Beat: Dual-Wield Ryuko is the only character in the game with a reverse beat, meaning she can essentially go backwards in her cancel options. Many of her moves can cancel back into 5C, which makes her scary to block for long.
- Resets: Dual-Wield Ryuko's reverse beat and her ability to restand opponents mid combo grants her a formidable reset game which is something most characters lack.

- Committal Break Attacks: Dual-Wield Ryuko has long recovery time on her Break Attacks, none of which can be canceled, making most Guard Break attempts from her risky to do without conditioning.
