A new detective with the Crossbell Police Department who received
high marks at the academy and passed the detective exam at a very
young age. Despite his modest demeanor, his burning passion against
crime and injustice has no equal.
Lloyd is a surprisingly bulky rushdown character with great pressure and decent damage/mobility, who can turn into a high risk/high reward pressure monster upon activating Burning Heart (denoted with or BH). When active, Lloyd's pressure game and damage output both becomes significantly stronger, letting him snowball his way into victory if used carefully. However, if Lloyd forgets to reset every once in a while, his stamina will instantly run out, making it vulnerable to a big punish. On top of that, his short-ish range and a lack of quick, on-command projectiles makes neutral a bit harder to approach for him than for most characters.
Lloyd is recommended for players who loves running constant pressure while also not being afraid of a challenge. Similar to:

Strengths
Weaknesses
Bulky: Lloyd is one of the tankiest characters in the game.
Fast: Despite his excellent bulk, Lloyd remains a fairly quick character, who doesn't have that much trouble chasing down his opponents.
Great Pressure: Lloyd's arsenal of multi-hit attacks makes breaking the opponent's guard quite easy.
High Snowball Potential: Burning Heart makes Lloyd's already strong offense even more dangerous thanks to higher speed and damage output.
Low AP: Lloyd has the 2nd lowest AP value in the game, severely limiting his customization abilities.
Linear Neutral: Lloyd's short normals and lack of projectiles makes him extremely reliant on his Charge Attack for neutral play, which can be easily played around.
Needs Momentum: In order to stay a threat, Lloyd needs to be constantly generating enough SP for him to renew his install. Failing to do so will put Lloyd at a great disadvantage.
High Skill Floor: In order to be effective, Lloyd must be on point on his resource management game. On top of that, his combos can be tough to pull off at times.

Very important move for Lloyd. Its range and speed helps Lloyd a lot in neutral since he lacks good midrange options. What's more, the projectile lasts long enough for it to hit opponents through armored moves such as Estelle's Hard Break. On top of that, landing it once generates barely enough SP for Lloyd to renew Burning Heart. Since it's a launcher, it also works pretty well in combos.
At frame 5, the move creates a point blank windbox that pushes opponents towards the projectile

While it looks very cool, Lloyd has very few opportunities to land his EXTRA Skill. Its main purpose is ending combos, however most of Lloyd's routes puts him in the air, where Tiger Charge becomes nigh useless since it will never connect in the air.
