Introduction

Ryuko Matoi (纏 流子)

She is the daughter of Isshin Matoi and the main protagonist of KILL la KILL. She transferred to Honnōji Academy searching for the twin of her red Scissor Blade and the person who used it to murder her father.

Strengths Weaknesses
  • One of the few characters with an armored dashing guard breaks, also one of the few who can rapidly cancel it into itself or other moves for powerful mix up potential
  • Level 1 Valor turns her into the fastest character in the game
  • Very solid character, great for beginners
  • Has a large variety of ways to extend combos
  • Can link her air guard break up to three times
  • Able to lock opponents in block stun using her projectiles to set up fast unreactable GB situations
  • Very grounded character, does not excel in the air
  • Nearly all of her moves are stubby and have very short range
  • Projectiles have very short range
  • Has a very hard time against zoning
  • Anti Air is okay at best
