Overview
Saffron is the holder of most iconic weapons in OSFE: Sparkle, and due to how simple both of her weapons are, she is the mostly recommended for beginners. Yet, She has a high skill ceiling, making her deadly in the hands of skilled players. The versaility of Sparkle let Saffron use it as a neutral tool and for combo links, allowing good damage output in combo-focused-decks and good control of rows. The simplicity of Saffron gameplan also allows her to use a good variety of spells, either for neutral or utility.

Strategy and Synergy
Sparkler — Saffron relies on how versatile it can be, from a simple neutral tool to a weapon that allows her to deny options from enemies:
Neutral: Her main tool to use for neutral game, due to velocity and low recovery, once it's connected, she can follow up with spells or even another Sparkler to adjust for specific range.
Boxing: Sparkler low startup allows Saffron to pressure and fight in front columns comfortably and keep it up with others boxing characters.
Interruptions: Since Sparkler works as a projectile, Saffron can use it to interrupt opponents spells, especially Step Spells, due to heavy commit from opponent.
Combos: Due to great numbers, Saffron can use Sparkler as substitute to spells and between spells and her basic movement to increase her damage over combos.
Sparktex — In comparative terms with her primary weapon, Sparktex uses varies more on the pace of the match instead of general ones, having a few less uses:
Angle: Sparktex hits in small cross after a delay, being able to hit opponents off-set. Its frame data also allow for follow up with some spells.
Range: Since Sparktex hits directly 4 tiles away, Saffron can use it to poke opponents without dealing with structures and force them to move away from last columns.
Follow Up: Due to fast startup, Sparktex can be used to follow up from both spells and her primary weapon, allowing Saffron to increase her damage in confirms.
Thunder — Consistent spell for Saffron, allowing her to confirm from and into both her weapons and extending its damage output. Paragon can be an alternative for the same reasons.
Kinetic Wave — Due to fast startup, Kinetic Wave increases Saffron front columns pressure and gives her enough time to adjust range for others spells and weapons.
Minigun — Another consistent spell for Saffron, Minigun can pressure an entire row and catch opponents moving around the grind. Its frame data also allows Saffron to use in and out combos from her Sparkler and to increase her pressure in front columns.
Whirl — Mostly used to catch opponents walking between tiles, but when used in conjunction with Step Spells, Saffron can easily adjust her range to follow up options.
Auto Slash — Great spell overall, not only allows Saffron to start her combos from Sparkler, but can be used to punish opponents. Step Slash can be an alternative for the same reasons.
