Introduction

Alice is a highly versatile character with tools for almost every situation; she can play both keepaway and rushdown extremely well. She also has great mobility: fast walk speed, a fast dash that covers a lot of distance, one of the best jumps in the game, and various other mobility tools such as sways and slides. Her normals have good range, and she excels at low/mid rushes and frame traps. While in Hyperbeast, her damage output is devastating thanks to her unique Power Legs trait, which makes all her kicks deal significantly increased damage and gives them Guard Break properties. To play Alice effectively, learning every option she has for each situation is important; because of this, and the fact that she has some of the highest execution requirements in the game (particularly with her instant wr.B combos), Alice requires a lot of time to learn.

Pros Cons
  • Versatile: Alice has a well-rounded kit that allows her to play both rushdown and keepaway very effectively.
  • Mobile: Alice is very mobile, with fast walk speeds and dashes, as well as a very fast jump. This makes her air cancel game very threatening.
  • Rewarding Offense: Alice's move list gives her myriad ways to mix opponents up with mids, lows and various frame traps, and her Hyperbeast leads to incredible damage.
  • Weak Defense: Thanks to a below average defense modifier and HP recovery rate, Alice takes hits harder than most other characters.
  • Poor Range In Beast: Somewhat counter-intuitively, entering Beast Form causes Alice's kick attacks to lose some range, making it more difficult to play her keepaway game.
  • Technically Demanding: Alice has access to some incredibly damaging combos, but tight execution requirements make them prone to dropping, with few to no easier alternative combo routes.
