Speeding through her studies at an American university, Kurisu graduated faster than the average student. Now, she works as a researcher at a neuroscience research facility. Kurisu is a highly curious girl who has had to grow a pretty thick layer of skin in order to survive the jealousy of others. While visiting Japan, Kurisu was involved in an incident that ended up with her working (reluctantly) as an assistant for the group of inventors know as the Future Gadgets Research Center.

Overview

Kurisu is the Queen of Setplay , being of the few characters that can run a sequence of offenses with little to no escape when timed. Kurisu is very versatile with multiple projectiles to cover mid screen, an invincible reversal that safe on block, and a true standing SPD. Kurisu near-monopoly of options is offset her damage is low and she has the shortest set of normal in PBO.

Set-play Supreme: Kurisu has arguably the most reliable and consistent set play when all her tools are used in tandem. IF she optimizes her set up the opponent can almost never get their turn. Strong Specials:From a command grab (true SPD), Anti clash tackle, unblockable trap, Beam projectile, and Yoga Flame, Kurisu has everything to make perfect character outside of large normal. Strong Defensive Option : Future Gadget # 4 & 5 have many defensive properties from meterless invincibility, clash frame, and safe on block.

Stubby Normals: Kurisu has the shortest reach in the game, but this is rarely a factor in her overall game plan. Weak Full-Screen zoning: Kurtisu beam has a narrow hitbox making it pretty easy to low-profile or jump over it. She struggles against Zoner specialists (Infinity, Mei, Ende) Trap disappears on hit: Kurisu trap is a cornerstone of her gameplay but taking any damage causes it to lose its hitbox and disappear.

Momentuem focus Kurisu, Counter Burst lets kurisu set up her setplay from a variety of hits but does the least damage.

Protection into command grab is really strong since it grabs the lingering hurt box, Hardstyle also helps with damage.

Kurisu special are already oppressive on their own, being able to guard cancel thrue some pressure make them even better.
