What's the difference between UNIST and UNICLR?

UNICLR is an update to UNIST, just like UNIST is an update to UNIEL, and UNIEL is an update to UNIB. It's not a sequel. UNICLR will have some balance changes, quality of life changes, and a new character called "Londrekia".

Is UNICLR compatible to play against previous versions of the game: UNIST, UNIEL, UNIB?

UNICLR is a different update version of the Under Night In-Birth game to UNIST, UNIEL, and UNIB. Compatibility between different versions of Under Night In-Birth is impossible due to differences in the game versions.

I already have UNIST, do I need to buy UNICLR?

The situation is slightly complicated as there has been no clear sources for international confirmation. Only Japan and European releases have had clear information. No official word on the NA release regarding the update.

I have it on PS4.

PS4 users will be getting a free DLC update for the balance changes only. The new character, Londrekia and colors will be purchasable DLC.

What about PS3/Vita?

For the owners of UNIST on PS3 and Vita, UNICLR on PS4 will be discounted. (No official English announcement)

Steam/PC version?

No official word, but plenty of speculation:

• There has been speculation that the PC version is in the works as the SteamDB Depots page has been getting regularly updates.
• From Twitter user @SomeGuyNamedKai who contacted Arcsys PR, they responded: "Arc says no plans for PC at this time."
• During one of the PQube streams, they mentioned the Steam version was coming but they were not the ones working. (citation needed)

What character should I play?

Under Night has a very diverse cast of characters so it can be hard to pick a character for you. There is no objective answer to this but you should pick characters you think are fun to play. If it is the most difficult character in the game but you're having fun, that's a better situation to be in than playing the easiest character in the game and being bored. Use the Arcade mode to pick characters you think look cool and fight against the Under Night cast controlled by the CPU.

How do I find tech on Twitter?

Each character in the game has a specific hashtag which people should aim to use when posting tech for ease of searching. Hashtags begin with #CLR_ and at the end two letters are appended based on a character first 2 letters of their name (HYde, ORie) or dominant consonant (LiNne, YuZuriha). Tech posted using these hashtags is automatically posted to this Discord server. The current list is as follows:
