Waka's family has been trying to stop Phantom's duels for generations. The Kumon household follows both the path of god as well as martial arts, so there is a dojo for training built just behind their temple where they work daily to harden their bodies and spirits. One of Waka's duties is to stop duelists from fighting whenever possible. She has known Ren since childhood and is also friends with Yuzuha.
Overview
Waka is a well-rounded character that practices the art of space control. Waka's normals are great at keeping the opponent out and Ko-ryu Jin to anti air. Passive opponents can be harassed with Sujin-ha projectiles, and Sougetsu-jin helps Waka convert off her pokes. Waka has slow overheads and her chains have exploitable gaps if she over-commits.
Playstyle
Waka is classified as a Long-Range standard. She's adept as space control with her normals ans has a projectile to harass the opponent while generating meter.

- Well rounded : Waka's has all the tools to apply a simple but effective gameplay.
- Long Range: Waka's counter Burst and Heavy normal cover an impressive range, and her Sujin projectile compliment her space control.
- Conversion: Having access to meterless otg pick, easy side switch, EX that extends combo, throw an anti-airs that lead into full combos, Waka has the best combo potential in Phantom Breaker.
- Meter Build : Due to Waka high combo ability involving her special such as her DP loop, waka can fill her Burst gauge in a matter of seconds, she can even spend the same meter and come out meter positive with proper routing.

- Damage: Many of waka's special do severe damage scaling due to their multi-hit properties,
- Pressure gaps : Waka pressure is very exploitable, making her a sitting duck half the time against strong reversals and gaurd cancels.
- Utility focus meter: Meter option tend to provide the best of both words power and utility, how ever for Waka it's mostly utility as only one of her EX is significant, making waka priority utility over power.
