Overview

Queen is a generalist character that can use her Setpiece to protect herself from spells while attacking her opponent from tricky angles. Her ability to disarm traps and block single-hit spells makes her difficult to attack, while her strong control of the field with her Setpiece attacks and Execute make her difficult to defend against.

Flexibe Tools: Queen's Setpiece can be utilized for both offense and defense. Field Control: The attack area covered by Setpiece and the Execute beam control a lot of the field at once. Strong Melee Tools: Execute hits an entire column at once and can be used to start combos. Low Risk Attacks: Setpiece attacks can be activated from anywhere and have low recovery.

High Difficulty: There is a lot that can be done with Queen's weapons and it takes a lot of knowledge and practice to bring out their potential. Inconsistent Pressure: Queen's Setpieces don't have the same attacks, meaning that the area she controls with them is constantly changing. High Positional Awareness: A Queen player needs to know what area is covered by her current Setpiece, and be able to catch opponents moving into that area. Average Damage: Queen's weapon doesn't enable notable high damage combo routes.

Queen summon a Setpiece in front of her with 3 HP. She'll always summon in order Bishop > Knight > Rook. If tile is occupied, Setpiece drop will damage the target. If an Setpiece already exists, she'll cast Chess Seeker instead.

Knight attacks in a L shape. Knight attack is the only having more startup and less active frames than the others setpieces. Knight can only attack if triggered by Chess Seeker.
