Introduction
Long is a balanced, well-rounded 6-Ring/Rokugo user with access to two separate 6-Rings (Hawk and Tiger styles); as such, he is well suited to adapting to his opponent on the fly. Long is able to play either a close-range aggressive game or a patient, mid-range defensive game depending on what the situation calls for, and his all-rounded stats help him accomplish this. Long also has one of the best wavedashes in the game, if not the best, making him a threat at all ranges. Long's combos are situational, however; he has difficulty finding many opportunities to land big damage. This forces him to wear down his opponents, meaning comebacks can be difficult to achieve if the opponent has a large life lead; luckily, Long gets the highest Beast damage modifier in the game to help him. While 1-frame inputs, links and cancels are commonplace in Bloody Roar, Long also has many typical just-frame inputs that can be found in other 3D fighters.
