Playstyle

Pros Cons
  • Footsies: In both Stand Off and Stand On, Bruno has access to long-range normals, giving him an edge in neutral.
  • Quick Mix: Equipped with moves that crossup like "Close, zipper!" and Stand On j.M, Bruno can constantly keep his opponent on their toes.
  • Comeback King: Bruno has access to Resolve Mode and a revive, allowing him to come back from dire situations.
  • Air Control: Moves like Stand Off 3H can lead to massive damage, making the opponent think twice before jumping.
  • Meter Reliant: Although Bruno is great at gaining meter, he constantly requires it to get his offense started.
  • Self-Damaging HHA: Bruno's HHA deals a small amount of grey health damage to himself, leaving him with a smaller health pool to work with until it recovers.

Upon death which would usually result in a match loss, Bruno will resurrect with roughly 10% health as long as 1 bar of the HH Gauge is stored. This will consume 1 bar of the HH Gauge and cause him to drop out of any combo, while also removing any projectiles on screen. This effect can occur 1 time per round, and 2 times per match.
