Koichi Hirose
Koichi's assist helps to extend his damage by providing an OTG that sets up for Josuke to go into Stand On extensions. This also allows Josuke to go for double HHA routes, as the assist still works after Josuke performs his own OTG attack.
Enrico Pucci (Whitesnake)
Pucci's assist helps Josuke deal extra OTG damage to a downed opponent, allowing him to get a second 214X and increase his damage dealt. This also gives him a second Reversal Assist Stock, allowing him to break an extra combo as opposed to Koichi's 1 stock.
Alternate World Diego
Alternate Diego's barb wire, in conjunction with Josuke's own 623X, gives Josuke pretty wacky stage control that doubles as a pretty alright mid-range option. With good timing, he can also get a combo off the barb wire's crumple.
