General Changes

  • Standarized lower-body hurtboxes during a backdash for all characters.
  • Upon successfully activating, Counter-based HHAs now always send the opponent towards the direction the user is facing.
  • Guard Break state now carries a 20% damage scaling penalty for the attacker.
  • Characters who are in a Super Armor state (including during attacks performed while in Resolve Mode) now take 50% less damage, and Counter Hits can no longer be triggered by attacks absorbed by Super Armor.
  • Characters affected by the Hard Knockdown hit effect now transition into an OTG state sooner in order to prevent OTG attacks from missing due to the invincibility present in the transition to a knockdown.
  • Standarized air-only pivot lines and collision boxes for all characters.
  • Stand Style characters who can summon their Stand will now have their Stand's collision boxes disabled if they receive hitstun while grounded.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the crouching hitstun animation to play when punishing a failed Stylish Guard during recovery.
  • Support Attacks that only feature one Reversal Assist Stock now have a shorter cooldown time after using their Reversal Assist.
  • Attempting to call a Support Attack during Stylish Guard startup and recovery will now call an Assault Assist instead of a Reversal Assist.

    • Reduced startup.

      • Changed hit effect on the second hit against grounded opponents (Launch > Crumple).
      • The Kempo Fighter will no longer perform the second hit if the first hit is blocked.

  • Aren't you acting tough! (214L/M/H with the Kempo Fighter):

      • Official Patch Notes state this change also applies to "Smooth as silk" (6 after Not one move wasted (214L/M/H)), which is false as that move always possessed the property.
  • Blasphemy is prohibited! (j.214L/M/H/S):
    • L version:
      • Changed hit effect (None > Groundbounce).
      • Increased projectile speed.
    • M version:
      • Increased the amount of projectiles fired to 2 (up from 1).
      • Redistributed damage to accommodate for the increased amount of projectiles, resulting in an overall increase in damage (35 > 36 (18*2)).
      • Changed hit effect (None > Groundbounce).
      • Increased startup.
      • Increased landing recovery.
    • H version:
      • Increased the amount of projectiles fired to 3 (up from 1).
      • Redistributed damage to accommodate for the increased amount of projectiles, resulting in an overall increase in damage (40 > 42 (14*3)).

    • Special Moves that can be canceled into this move now can only do so during their active frames (unless Lisa Lisa is considered airborne).
      • Does not apply to "Settle this with style" (H after Hamon Master (236L/M/H/S)), which keeps its original, unrestricted cancel windows.
  • Assist
    • Increased horizontal launch force on the second attack.
    • Increased startup, hitbox sizes, and movement distance of the third attack.

  • Farewell, you annoying Englishman! (22S while in Heavy Machine Gun Mode):
    • Fixed a bug that would prevent Stroheim from recovering his Support Attack Stocks in the next round if he died while flying backwards after the grenade explodes.

    • Fixed a bug that caused Stroheim's Reversal Assist to not inflict hitstop.

    • Removed invinciblity.

    • Iggy now bounces backwards if the move is blocked.
      • This bounce can be canceled into "Aerial Dash" (Forward).
  • Ha ha, sucker! (Automatic after Too easy! (22L/M/H while in Stand On)):
    • On a successful activation, Iggy can now perform a Flash Cancel.
    • On a successful activation, Iggy will now remain in Stand On.

    • Adjusted Diego's collision box to disappear during the spinning portion of the move.
      • This change allows the move to pass through opponents and hit as a cross-up.
  • Gouge (236L/M/H in both modes):
    • Increased startup when used while Dismounted.
    • Reduced the amount of hits when used while Mounted.
    • Reduced damage when used while Mounted.
    • Reduced invincibility window when used while in possession of 2 or more Holy Corpse parts.
  • Useless, useless! (623L/M/H in both modes):
    • While Dismounted, the move can now be used while Diego is airborne (doesn't apply when jumping backwards).
    • Adjusted the lower-body invincibility window.
    • Adjusted the full invincibility window for the Mounted and Aerial versions when used while in possession of 2 or more Holy Corpse parts.
  • Assist:
    • Increased startup.
    • Reduced Reversal Assist Stocks to 1 (down from 2).

  • Baoh Melting Acid (421L/M/H):
    • Increased landing recovery when this move is blocked.
  • Baoh Break Dark Thunder Phenomenon (22L/M/H):
    • Increased hitbox sizes all around Baoh's body.
  • This is Baoh! (5S):
    • The Super Armor window applied to Baoh's Special Moves after using this move has been adjusted to disappear on the first active frame of the Special Move.

Other Changes

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the Input Recording feature from recording Special Move follow-ups while in Stand On, as well as Stand Rush usage.
