Introduction
266X AD (Kōki)... The Military Intelligence Command of the GSDF received information that a former Imperial technical officer (*1) in charge of the lost, highly classified, "Blitz Motor" was revived in the Arctic Ocean. In order to secure him ahead of other countries the GSO secretly dispatched a covert operative... (*2)
Stage 1 - Marilyn

Kanae successfully infiltrated Shanghai while pursuing Akatsuki,
but an assassin from the mafia, aiming for the Blitz Motor, awaited her...

Akatsuki: I'm sorry, but I cannot obey those orders.
Kanae: ...... What do you intend to do?
Akatsuki: I can't say right now... but if you get in my way I'll have to get rid of you too.

Murakumo: Surrounding how? All guidance equipment is useless.
Kanae: What?......
Murakumo: Powerful electromagnetic waves have neutralized all electronic devices. As evidence, you were unable to make contact for quite a while, haven't you?
Kanae: ............
Murakumo: Naturally, by using high-output optic weapons powered by the Blitz Motor it's possible to intercept not only guided missiles but also satellites.
Kanae: I see... this means modern warfare has been reverted here...
Murakumo: That's exactly it... Well then, let's see if you can defeat me with those hands.

Ending
Murakumo: Guwaaah!... *haah*... *haah*... *haah*...
Kanae: I won the match... now then, lay down your weapons and surrender.
Murakumo: Heh... as long as that woman... is around... over and over...
Kanae: ... What do you mean?
Murakumo died just like that. Immediately after the base began to collapse and the huge Blitz Motor disappeared under a mass of rocks... Barely escaping, Kanae returned home and submitted an extensive report but for some reason the case was covered up as just a cave-in incident. And so Murakumo's prediction became a reality......

- (*2) Kanae's rank is First Lieutenant (二等陸尉 [Nitou Rikui], abreviated 二尉 [Nii]) in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF). [3] She is assigned to the Ground Staff Office (陸上幕僚監部) abreviated here as 陸幕 (Rikubaku) [4], so I used the equivalent acronym. The GSO is a special agency of the Ministry of Defense that commands the GSDF. Kanae is a member of the G-2 (二部), the division in charge of intelligence and operation support. [5]
