Kirby Fighters 2 is the sequel to the 3DS' Kirby Fighters Deluxe (2014) and released on the Nintendo Switch on September 23, 2020. The game features many Kirby copy abilities as playable fighters, including the brand-new Wrestler ability, as well as several other characters from previous games such as Gooey and King Dedede. Gameplay and art are modeled after the recent Kirby game, Kirby Star Allies, and copy abilities retain most of their moveset from recent Kirby games.
PVP gamemodes include 4-player free for all, 2v2/3v1 teams, and 1v1 fighting gameplay, which can be played both offline and online (with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription).
