Curse Mark

Anko can assume an enhanced state by activating the Curse Mark via BackSpecial Jutsu. After doing so, Anko will receive the following changes:

  • Anko's Guard Gauge is increased to an incredibly high value, to the point where he is even able to guard most instant guard break moves (such as Neji's ChargeStrong Attack).
  • Attacks involving Striking Shadow Snakes gain increased hits and damage.
  • The following moves are altered or replaced:
    • UpWeak Attack tracks the opponent's location.
    • BackStrong Attack is replaced with a natural teleport that can be Hold to delay her reapperance at the cost of draining Chakra.
    • Special StanceStrong Attack is replaced with a teleport that always brings Anko towards her opponent.
    • Throw is replaced with a new Throw that does not allow Anko to combo from it, but instead acts as the most damaging Throw in the game.

In return for these benefits, Anko's health will slowly drain until she's left at 1 point of health. In addition, the Curse Mark cannot be deactivated, persisting for the rest of the round.

Latent Ninja Power
  • LNP activates at 20% health and grants these buffs:
    • BackSpecial Jutsu no longer costs Chakra.
    • While Curse Mark is active, attacks involving Striking Shadow Snakes deal increased damage and guard damage.
Other
  • Anko's (behind obstacle) Weak Attack and Strong Attack are her RunWeak Attack and UpStrong Attack respectively.
