Kat has fairly weak tagout options, largely consisting of either 6S as a weak pressure tool. That is made up in orders of magnitude by the strength of her assist. A multi hitting, forward advancing slash - this is one of the most threatening assists in the game if not dealt with quickly.
Each slash has a small gap, allowing you to throw an opponent in-between slashes, or cross them up. You can tag-in Kat at any point during as well, so your opponent has a lot to keep track of if you catch them blocking the assist - odds are, if they decide to block it, they're getting hit.
