==Assist Strategies==
* Valentine benefits greatly from an assist that lets her load vials during a combo. This lets her apply the status effect during the same combo, or to use for later.
** Cerebella's Excellebella assist is the arguable best for this because it allows Val to load two vials anywhere on the screen. A downside is that it has very aggressive scaling as an assist (33%)
** Big Band's H A-Train assist only grants two vials when in the corner, but it does a lot of damage and scales less.

* Scalpels rarely does much damage as a DHC unless it is done from some distance as most of the scalpels will miss. Scalpels does allow Valentine to convert into a full combo in the corner however, so long as OTG has not been used. When done from long range, Scalepels DHC is safe versus most of the cast. Just note that some characters can punish (e.g. Cerebella can deflect the scalpels for a full combo and Double can punish with Car).
* Level 3 is Valentine's highest damage super and gives an additional vial load. Note that if you want to DHC from level 3 then you have to do it before most of the damage is applied so it should only ever be used as an ender.
