Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid/Dai Shi/Team Building
Assist and Tagouts
Dai's assist is a variation on his 5S~L sideswitching when close enough, and causing a wallbounce on hit. This is decent at setting up sandwiches with Dai assist, and is an easy pickup into full combo by characters who have easy to access, fast OTGs.
Dai can also perform an interesting momentum cancel on tag-in with his assist - by tagging in at the right moment and holding down he can slide forward considerably, allowing you to go far further on tag-in than would usually be possible. Video Example
In regards to tagouts, Dai has 2 strong options, 5S and 6S. 5S initiates a slow, armoured run that ends in a strike. It has enough armour that most characters can't challenge it, so they have to block or jump, which gives your tagged in character an advantage.
6S is a delayed low, which can make for some very nasty setups. Strike the opponent's guard with a normal, cancel it into 6S and tagout. This means you can pressure you opponent with overheads, threatening unblockables with the correct setups.
