DISCLAIMER: This character just got reworked in her entirety and none of the following works anymore. We are currently at work trying to come up with updated strategies that reflect the new hunger mechanics. please be patient :) -Mizuumi contributers
Assist Strategies
- Umbrella is at her strongest when she is backed by a strong neutral assist that she can use in combos. Examples being Double's M/H Bomber, Big Band's H Brass, or Robo Fortune's H Beam
- The characters that like Umbrella's assists the most are the ones that need Grinder for building resources (Beowulf, Valentine, and Fukua), or ones that zone in neutral and enjoy the screen control that 6HP and Wish Maker provide (Peacock, Squigly, Robo)
- Below is a list of each characters recommended Umbrella assist (DISCLAIMER: these are not the only Umbrella assists you can run for each character. If you do not want to run our recommended assist, then don't! Nothing's stopping you)
Filia: 6HP/wish maker Cerebella: salt grinder/6HP Peacock: 6HP/wish maker Parasoul: 6HP Ms Fortune: hungern rush/6HP/bobblin' bubble Painwheel: 6HP/hungern rush Valentine: grinder/6HP/wish maker Double: 6HP/hungern rush Squigly: 6HP Big Band: wish maker/6HP Eliza: 6HP Fukua: salt grinder/6hp Beowulf: salt grinder Robo Fortune: hungern rush/wish maker Annie: hungern rush/6HP Black Dahlia: 6HP

Tagging
Tagging Out
- In Overstuffed, she can tag into basically anyone by doing jMP jHP and either tagging there or doing 214HK 214MK and tagging.
- She can tag into any combo tag by using Wish Maker, 6HP or popping a Bobble.
- She can combo into horizontal tags with 6HP and Overstuffed 5HP.
- She can combo into tags like Band's midscreen by doing 6[HP] Wishmaker Bobble without spending OTG.
Tagging In
- To combo after tag, she can tag from Robo 214MK, Parasoul 4HK, Eliza 5HPx3 in the corner, Eliza 2HP 236MK, Band 2HP, Valentine Green Vial 2HP, Beo 5HK (KD) in the corner, Peacock Item Drop Level 3, Dahlia 5[HP], and Fukua M Shadow.
- To get a SKD and oki after tag, she can tag from Robo 5HP, Parasoul Tear explosion, Valentine Green Vial 5HP, Peacock Item Drop Level 2, Annie 6MP stagger, Beo 5HK stagger, Bella 5MP stagger, Painwheel 5[HP] and 2[HP] and Squigly 236MK stagger.

GAS
- An abbreviation of Generic Assist + Slurp. This is a 5-way mixup (7 if you include potential command grab and burst bait options) that involves using Slurp N' Slide alongside an assist that has aerial knockback but does not knockdown. It is most useful against heavies, where umbrellas traditional mixups like SQRT become difficult or impractical
