Overview

Playstyle
link L-Wallace Uses chargable command normals and specials to extend combos, and has a devious corner game with a close range command grab
Pros Cons
  • Long Range: Wallace has great range to stuff any approach.
  • Command Grab: Wallace's command grab has a ton of range, allowing him to threaten it in footsies.
  • Anti-Airs: Wallace has a strong selection of anti-airs which allows him to catch opponent's jumps.
  • Corner Game: L-Wallace is one of the best character whenever the enemy is corner, as his C-tech becomes a combo starter.
  • Armor: L-Wallace has armor on the startup of his moves (which he can hold), which allows him to take hits in neutral. Additionally, C-tech has frame one armor, allowing it to be a powerful reversal.
  • Damage: L-Wallace has high damage, especially whenever the opponent is in the corner.
  • 5 Framer: Wallace's fastest normal is 5 frames.
  • Mobility: Wallace has the worst dash in the game.
  • Large: Pretty big compared to the rest of the cast, meaning moving around in neutral is more difficult and he gets mixed harder.

Statistics

Trait "Memento Mori": Several of Wallace’s moves can be held and are armored for the duration of the buildup, meaning he won’t flinch and will gain increased Craze Gauge for damage taken.

Knocks the opponent down, used in juggles or if you'd like more advantage than the light version. Does the same thing as light fully charged but 3 frames slower with a bit of a higher launch.

Very slow armored overhead. Can be used to shut down people running at you. Can be charged, makes it a higher ground bounce allowing Wallace to actually combo after it raw.

Even slower armored overhead, can be used in a similar way but a lot slower with a lot more reward. Fully charging this move actually takes a full real life second to do, if the opponent respects it for that long it's completely safe on block and does a bunch of guard damage.
