Health
Chip Damage
Most Specials and Supers do small amounts of damage to the opponent even on block. This is known as chip damage, and is a common mechanic in fighting games.
Attacks do 8% of their base damage as chip damage generally. The Chip Damage will scale with the Vorpal, Vell-Off or Celestial bonus.
GRD cycles, blocks and Gauges
GRD Gauge is what defines Under Night In-Birth's neutral. Every game starts with 0 GRD Gauge.
